β Step 1: Choose a Business Structure
Your first step is deciding the legal format of your business.

β Step 2: Get a PAN Card
A PAN (Permanent Account Number) in your business name is mandatory for tax and bank account purposes.

β Step 3: Open a Current Bank Account
You must open a current account in your business name at any nationalized or private bank.

Even if youβre exporting goods under zero-rated supply, GST registration is mandatory to issue valid invoices and claim IGST refunds.

The IEC is your license to export. Without it, you cannot ship goods or receive payments internationally.
